playdate overload

like, serious playdate overload.  i love seeing coco play with his friends but i am the kind of person that can only hangout with people about every other day.  down time is imperative to my mental wellbeing (shhh i am a closet homebody).  coco on the other hand, is all about meeting new people and playing nonstop.  his face says it all, pure bliss.

big news ya'll

so i have been praying about my move, that i would be happy at the place i was dreading and for everything to work out and my prayers have been answered!  i am moving elsewhere, back to europe and while i'm not going to announce where yet, i will give a hint by posting a photo of the place:

what a dream!!  i am determined to make this summer the best summer ever and spending as much time with family and friends as possible and making sure that we sight see a much as possible while we are still here.

i got a tattoo

this weekend i said goodbye to coco and left for richmond to visit my best friend for the weekend.  lots of girl time was had and on sunday we finally got our bff tattoos done by josh stephens over at hold it down.  it was my first, and definitely not my last.  i am so happy with how it turned out, he's amazing.

moving news

remember a little while back when i mentioned a possible impending move to a place that i wasn't too excited about?  well, that move is official with a date and everything, i have two months to find a house and pack up this one and drive across country.  it's very exciting yet overwhelming at the same time seeing that this is my first big move.  i'm just so relieved to finally have an answer.

the main thing that is keeping me super positive right now is that i'm planning on turning our drive into a mini vacation and taking our time seeing different sights and having little adventures along the way.

oh and i wanted to share that i made these really easy and delicious vegetarian lettuce wraps for lunch yesterday, courtesy of the pioneer woman.  the siriacha was my own little touch but i pour it on everything, i highly recommend it!

on the go

another sleepy day here! coco and i woke up super early again to pick up the husby from work, and on the way i snapped this photo because i'm going to do the march photo a day challenge over on instagram. i'm a day late but this is my first one, "up".  ]8393tt;;;;;;;t <-- my cat decided to lay on the keyboard hehe.  when we got home this morning we ate some donuts and passed out for a couple more hours.

yesterday was so busy! we went grocery shopping first thing, and then had just enough time to unpack and have a quick snack before headed off to the co-op.  it was so sweet, when we got to class coco sat next to this adorable girl in our class and whispered "i think you look cute today" into her ear. my heart melted, he always talks about how silly she is. i know he's too young to understand what a crush is, but i'm pretty sure he has his first one and its on her!  after class we came home, went to redbox where i rented the help yet again (why haven't i bought it yet?! i probably could have bought 2 copies on all the money i've spent renting), got an ice cream cone since it was so beautiful, but hot out and he did so wonderful at co-op.

when we got home i was so relieved to relax, but nope! his friends were outside so we ended up playing so hard.  i'm so lucky to have met a bunch of my neighbors this past weekend, they are so nice and our kids play together nicely and one of them even has a trampoline (score!).  i'm such a dork, i got so excited today when one of them stopped by and asked if they could borrow a cup of mayonnaise.  i love it, reminds me of the good ol' days.  not that i was around for that but i've imagined it plenty of times. :)

this morning i had to wake up at this horrendous time to take the husby to work so coco and i could have the car today.  when we hit the road at 4 am it was so foggy i could barely see!  i wish we could go back to sleep but we want to take full advantage of having the car today, so there is lots to do! what a way to begin a new month!
